Frum - elektronisk og organisk, millum myrkur og ljós
//English below//Frum - elektronisk og organisk, millum myrkur og ljósÍ 2025 komu heili tvær heildarútgávur frá Frum. Fyrst kom Whirlpool, og síðan føroyska útgávan Íða, ið hevur sum nakað heilt serligt føroyskar gestasangarar á øllum løgunum. Frum er tónleikaverkætlan hjá Jenný Kragesteen, sum hevur útgivið tónleik síðan 2017. Við sínum tónleiki hevur hon ferðast runt í heiminum og staðið á alskyns pallum. Í 2023 setti hon eisini upp eina stóra teaturkonsert í Norðurlandahúsinum, har tónleikur, sjónleikur og visuell list runnu saman í eina heild. Tónleikurin á teimum nýggju útgávunum hevur eitt gjøgnumgangandi tema av ringrásum – heilt frá uttast í alheiminum til innast í menniskjanum. Hetta tema kemur eisini greitt til sjóndar í framførslunum hjá Frum, sum eru eyðkendar av sterkari visuellari gjøgnumførslu og einum samanhangandi listarligum úttrykk.Fríggjakvøldið 13. februar kemur Frum at skapa ein heilt serliga ljómynd sum ikki er sædd áður í Listastovuni.Framførslan er stuðlað av Økistónum.
ENFrum – electronic and organic, between darkness and lightIn 2025, Frum released no fewer than two full-length albums. First came Whirlpool, followed by the Faroese-language release Íða, which is particularly distinctive for featuring Faroese guest vocalists on every track.Frum is a music project by Jenný Kragesteen, who has been releasing music since 2017. Through her music, she has toured internationally and performed on a wide range of stages. In 2023, she also staged a large-scale theatre concert at the Nordic House, where music, theatre, and visual art merged into a single, cohesive performance. The music on the new releases revolves around a recurring theme of cycles — ranging from the outer reaches of the universe to the innermost depths of the human being. This theme is also clearly reflected in Frum’s live performances, which are characterized by a strong visual execution and a coherent artistic expression. On Friday evening, 13 February, Frum will create a very special visual atmosphere that has not previously been seen at Listastovan. The performance is supported by Økistónar.
